Gertie the badger — Taxidermy

Gertrude, she looks kinda mean, and actually is.

Gertrude — Gertie, to those who haven't earned her respect — is a full taxidermy badger in excellent original condition. She has a look that suggests she was not consulted on this arrangement and would like the record to reflect that. She is, however, very beautiful, very present, and absolutely the most interesting thing in any room she occupies. We found her at a Belgian flea market. She seemed to come with the attitude pre-installed. She suits people who are confident in their choices.
